YMCA

Last Saturday, Landon and I took Brit swimming at the YMCA. Britton's so funny because he's such a cautious little boy. It took him about 5 minutes to get the courage to get in the water past his knees. Then about another 10 to go down the little kid's slide. Anyway... by the end, he was in up to his neck (literally) and trying to swim a little bit by floating how he does in the tub. The funny part to Landon and me was this: there were a few orange cones around the pool area. Brit somehow noticed them and shouts, "Buzz!" and went over to the cone and picked it up to see if Buzz Lightyear was inside. You'd understand if you've seen Toy Story 2 a million times like us - there's a part where the toys cross the street under traffic cones to pass safely to "Al's Toy Barn". Anyway... we cracked up. After checking, he'd keep telling us, "Buzz" and shaking his head no- informing us that Buzz wasn't inside.

Bath time

Landon took this picture of Brit the other day and I thought it was so cute. I like how he has a wet streak in his hair because he put his head under the running water.

Easter Party

Yesterday Britton and I went to my friend, Nikki's house for an Easter Party. Nikki did a great job hosting and preparing for such a large group! There was cookie decorating and an egg hunt - along with beautiful weather and wonderful company. Can you spot Brit? He's top left of the children. Thanks Nikki! Brit got that egg hunt down, "Egg!"

'Milp, Milp'

I told Brit that I needed to film him driving the car and then I'd get him some milk. He has a good memory :)

We're alive

Sorry, especially to our Utah grandparents who must be having withdrawals from seeing Britton! It's been a rough stretch with sicknesses between all of us. I guess it probably has to do with this being the first winter Brit isn't nursing and is a typical toddler = picky eater... so he's probably not as healthy as a horse :)

Just a few snapshots from lately: Brit loves to 'drive' the car. Landon said the other day, "Poor guy, has to wait 14 more years!" He'd love to drive right now! We made a club house out of the box the toilet came in. You should have seen it later when Brit wanted more and more lightbulbs all over it. He's always saying, "On!" and pointing to all the lights. So of course his clubhouse would have to have tons of lights. Last but not least, Brit loved a little carousel he rode at Mall of America. I wasn't feeling like dishing over $20 for a few kiddie rides that he won't really remember. Instead, he took 3 - $1 rides on this. And loved every minute!
