We've had some exciting things happen this last month. First of all - Kev came home from his mission!! I was lucky to be able to fly out and see Kev for a few days. Now that he's back, it feels like the 'old days' - in some ways like he was never gone.
We visited our Utah family for Christmas and New Years. We played Settlers and Mexican Train (with Dominoes) over and over and over again :) It was a lot of fun! We had lots of good meals and treats - one of them being 'Christmas tree french toast'. It was fun to be with family.
For our Christmas present, Landon's parents paid for a 2 night 3 day vacation to Las Vegas to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. We were so lucky to stay the nights in the Venetian Hotel. It was so beautiful! We ate until we were stuffed at 2 different buffets and made sure we had Gelato - Italian ice cream. The highlight of the trip was definately The Phantom of the Opera. Oh my goodness - that makes you want to learn how to sing and act! What talent those actors have!
Currently we're trying to be patient and wait until January 22nd when we find out where we will match for residency. Only 11 more days!
