Before we left New Orleans, Landon took me on a swamp boat tour, which I was really excited to do. We had a cool guide who grew up in that area and he told us about his childhood memories in that swamp. It turned out, however, that in February, the alligators were in hibernation. We only saw one small alligator in the wild - but our guide had just caught a baby alligator a few days before. He passed around the alligator and let us hold it, which was fun!
